Overview
Welcome to EvoMon on Roblox! This beginner guide covers everything you need to start your adventure — from catching your first EvoMon to understanding the core game mechanics.
Getting Started
When you first join EvoMon, you'll choose between Sparkpup (Electric-type) and Leafee (Grass-type) as your starter. Both are excellent choices:
- Sparkpup evolves into Thunderfang (A-tier) via Thunder Stone — great for speed and critical hits
- Leafee evolves into Leafguardian (A-tier) via Leaf Stone — balanced and versatile
After choosing your starter, explore Starter Island to catch wild EvoMon and level up your team.
Catching Your First EvoMon
EvoMon are caught using different ball types. Here's what you need to know:
- Basic Balls — Free, low catch rate, good for common EvoMon
- Advance Balls — Better catch rate, craft or buy from shop
- Rare Balls — High catch rate, best for rare spawns
- Lucky Balls — Special balls with bonus catch rate
Lower the target's HP and apply status effects (Sleep, Freeze) to increase catch rates significantly.
Understanding Evolution
EvoMon evolve through two methods:
- Level Evolution — Reach a specific level (e.g., Frostkit → Frostwing at Level 28)
- Stone Evolution — Use an evolution stone (e.g., Emberpup + Fire Stone → Flamewyrm)
Evolution significantly boosts stats and may change moves. Always teach desired moves before evolving.
Island Progression
EvoMon features four islands with increasing difficulty:
- Starter Island (Level 1-10) — Sparkpup, Leafee, Mudpig
- Jungle Island (Level 10-25) — Leafguardian, Shadowclaw, Stonegolem
- Ice Island (Level 25-40) — Frostwing, Aquashell
- Lava Island (Level 40+) — Flamewyrm, Thunderfang
Progress through islands by leveling your team and defeating bosses.
