Overview
Defeating bosses solo in Evomon is challenging but rewarding. Solo boss fights give full loot drops without sharing with teammates, making them the most efficient way to farm evolution stones and rare items. This guide covers every boss in the game with the EvoMon, level, strategy, and items you need to win alone.
Why Solo Boss Fights Are Better
While group boss fights are easier, solo fights have major advantages:
- Full loot — All drops go to you instead of being split
- No wait time — You do not need to find or coordinate with teammates
- Practice — Solo fights teach you boss mechanics thoroughly
- Flexibility — Fight whenever you want without scheduling
The trade-off is higher difficulty and longer fight times. This guide helps you minimize both.
General Solo Boss Strategy
Before fighting any boss solo, follow this preparation checklist:
- Match type — Bring at least 2 EvoMon with type advantage against the boss
- Overlevel slightly — Be 3–5 levels above the boss minimum for safety margin
- Pack healing — Carry at least 10 healing items and 5 revival potions
- Wear the right suit — Guardian Suit for defense, Warrior Suit for offense
- Check respawn timer — Know when the boss spawns so you do not waste time waiting
- Learn the attack pattern — Most bosses cycle through 3–4 moves in a fixed order

- Thunderfang (Electric, Lv 20+) — Speed control with Thunder Wave
Strategy:
- Lead with Thunderfang and use Thunder Wave to paralyze the boss
- Switch to Flamewyrm and use STAB Fire moves
- When HP drops below 30%, switch to Frostwing for Ice coverage
- Use healing items when any EvoMon drops below 40% HP
- The Guardian uses Solar Beam every 4th turn — switch to a resistant type
Frost Sovereign (Ice Island)
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Level | 35 |
| Type | Ice |
| HP | 4,000 |
| Attack | 95 |
| Defense | 80 |
| Weak to | Fire, Rock, Steel |
Recommended team:
- Flamewyrm or Infernox (Fire, Lv 37+) — Primary counter
- Stonegolem (Rock, Lv 35+) — Rock-type damage and defense
- Leafguardian (Grass, Lv 35+) — Resists Ice and Water moves
Strategy:
- Lead with Flamewyrm and hit with Fire STAB immediately
- The Sovereign uses Blizzard every 3rd turn — Leafguardian resists Ice
- When Flamewyrm takes damage, pivot to Stonegolem for Rock-type attacks
- Save healing items for the final 25% of the boss's HP — it enters a rage phase
- The rage phase doubles attack power but does not change type
Magma Overlord (Lava Island)
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Level | 50 |
| Type | Fire |
| HP | 6,500 |
| Attack | 110 |
| Defense | 90 |

Recommended team:
- Aquashell (Water/Ground, Lv 52+) — Double type advantage
- Tidalurk (Water, Lv 50+) — High HP tank
- Stonegolem (Ground, Lv 50+) — Ground moves
Strategy:
- Aquashell is your MVP — it resists Fire and deals 2x with Water and Ground moves
- Lead with Aquashell and use Surf for consistent damage
- The Overlord uses Eruption at low HP — swap to Tidalurk to tank it
- Ground moves from Stonegolem deal 2x damage and provide Electric immunity
- Bring at least 15 healing items — this is a long fight
Storm Titan (Sky Island)
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Level | 65 |
| Type | Electric/Flying |
| HP | 9,000 |
| Attack | 120 |
| Defense | 85 |
| Weak to | Ice, Rock |
| Immune to | Ground |
Recommended team:
- Frostwing (Ice, Lv 67+) — Ice STAB against Flying type
- Crystallix (Rock, Lv 65+) — Rock STAB, both types effective
- Aquashell (Water/Ground, Lv 65+) — Water moves, pivoting
Strategy:
- Do not bring Ground attacks — they are immune due to Flying type
- Lead with Frostwing — Ice hits Flying for 2x and is neutral to Electric
- Crystallix is the best counter with Rock hitting both Electric and Flying
- The Titan uses Thunder every 3rd turn — avoid Water types when this is coming
- Storm Wing attack (every 5th turn) hits the whole party — heal before it
Tidal Leviathan (Ocean Island)
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Level | 80 |
| Type | Water |
| HP | 12,000 |
| Attack | 130 |

- Thunderfang (Electric, Lv 82+) — Electric STAB
- Leafguardian (Grass, Lv 80+) — Grass STAB
- Voltstrike (Electric, Lv 80+) — Backup Electric attacker
Strategy:
- Thunderfang is the star — Electric hits Water for 2x damage
- The Leviathan uses Hydro Pump every 3rd turn — switch to Leafguardian to resist
- Keep Thunderfang's HP above 50% at all times — it is fragile
- Use Voltstrike as a backup when Thunderfang needs healing
- This fight takes 8–12 minutes solo — bring 20+ healing items

- Mystifae (Fairy, Lv 97+) — Fairy STAB, resists Dark
- Pixiedust or Enchantress (Fairy, Lv 95+) — Backup Fairy
- Leafguardian or any Fighting move user — Fighting coverage
Strategy:
- Fairy types are essential — they resist Dark and deal 2x damage
- Lead with Mystifae and use Moonblast for maximum damage
- The Emperor uses Dark Pulse every 2nd turn — Fairy resists completely
- At 25% HP, the Emperor summons a Void Shield — you must break it with 3 super effective hits

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I solo world bosses?
World bosses are designed for groups of 5+ players. Solo world boss fights are extremely difficult and require max-level EvoMon with perfect Traits. It is possible but not recommended for most players.
What happens if I lose a solo boss fight?
You respawn at the nearest safe zone. Your EvoMon are fully healed on respawn. The boss remains at full HP and you can try again after the respawn timer (typically 5–10 minutes).
Should I use Guardian Suit or Warrior Suit for solo bosses?
Use Guardian Suit for bosses where survival is the main challenge (Magma Overlord, Void Emperor). Use Warrior Suit for bosses where you can outpace their damage (Jungle Guardian, Frost Sovereign). The defensive trade-off matters more in longer fights.
Do bosses scale with my level?
No, bosses have fixed stats. Overleveling your EvoMon makes fights easier. Being 3–5 levels above the boss is the sweet spot — too high and the XP reward is minimal, too low and you risk losing.
